This year, we’re showcasing all the colours of the rainbow for Pride 2019!
We are thrilled to announce that the St Johns Beacon will be shining brightly to celebrate this weekend’s events to raise awareness of LGBT+ and to showcase Liverpool as an LGBT+ friendly city.
This year, the Beacon will be lit on the weekend of July 26th to celebrate equality and diversity in the city.
Centre Manager, Neil Ashcroft said: “St Johns is thrilled to play its part in this year’s Pride. We felt strongly about contributing to Pride to celebrate the great range of equality and diversity we have in the city. By lighting up such an iconic and visible building, we hope to bring awareness to the LGBT+ community.”
