We would like to welcome Alder Hey Children’s Charity as our new charity partner for April, May and June.

Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 275,000 patients and families we care for every year.

Since April 2013, they have raised over Β£43m for a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities that are making a real difference to families every day. The charity helps to fund a range of activities and projects that are designed to enhance and improve the lives of our amazing young patients.

Some of the projects that the money raised in partnership with St John’s Shopping Centre could go towards – therapeutic music sessions, comics and animation workshops and even ward based dance sessions.

The partnership will last 12 weeks, running for the beginning of April to the end of June. Alder Hey will have access to the centre, allowing them to hold events, raise awareness and fundraise throughout the period.
