Pride month is an important time for organisations and individuals to reflect on their commitments to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace: to look at how far we’ve come, remember how far we have yet to go until we achieve true equality, and consider the part each of us has to play in effecting meaningful change.

St Johns has been serving Liverpool for over 50 years and is proud to be at the heart of a bustling and progressive city. As a team, we have fostered a culture not just of acceptance or tolerance, but of celebration. We embrace the diversity and individuality of our team and our customers, and always strive to ensure everyone who steps through our doors feels at home.

However, we also know that Pride month presents a great opportunity for businesses to highlight the support available to those who may be struggling and to signpost the brilliant organisations who work tirelessly to combat stigma, prejudice and inequality.

With this in mind, we’ve put together a list of organisations across the region whose work, not just during Pride month but throughout the whole year, is a vital and necessary resource for many LGBT+ people in the city of Liverpool and beyond.
