Two new stores have joined the St Johns family! Outdoor clothing retailer Trespass and cosmetics superstore Beauty Spot Warehouse opened their doors last month to the shoppers at large. In true St Johns fashion, the community welcomed them with open arms, with both stores experiencing an increase in traffic as curious patrons went to check them out and see what they had to offer. With a perfect introduction, both retailers are set to have a great future alongside St Johns’ existing stores.
Just a stone’s throw away from Liverpool Lime Street, St Johns Shopping Centre is the go-to location for anyone that wants to find a great deal with an even better atmosphere. With a mix of local and national brands, there’s something for everyone at this central retail hub, with Aldi, Wilko and Matalan all in the mix.
These new openings are just another win for St Johns, who saw a 1.5% increase in footfall over the last year, as well as a 3% sales boost. These numbers are a reflection of all support and confidence the public has put into the shopping centre, and as the range of stores continues to increase, it is sure to only grow.
General manager Neil Ashcroft said: “St Johns has been part of the fabric of Liverpool for a very long time, and it’s important that we continue to both invest in our existing retailers and attract new stores to the centre. We are always looking to bring in more variety and choice for our shoppers.
We’re known for being home to some great local indies and have built our reputation on being an eclectic mix with big and small. With the addition of these new stores, we are really looking forward to a great few months ahead.”
