St Johns has this week won two of the retail industry’s most coveted awards: the Revo ACE Community award and Revo ACE Customer Service award.
The ACE awards recognise and celebrate the retail places that truly deliver a consistently great experience for shoppers.
To win an ACE award requires exceptional, and consistent, performance as the awards set best practice benchmarks across the industry and are a yardstick, recognising and promoting ever evolving innovations in the retail industry.
St Johns received the Community and Customer Service awards following a tough selection process involving interviews with the management team, two mystery shops and a presentation. St Johns excelled, being recognised as the leading community shopping centre in the UK as well as receiving a 100% service score for both mystery shops.
The judges recognised the central role that St Johns plays in Liverpool community life, with its wide range of shops, its industry-leading efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, improve accessibility for disabled and vulnerable shoppers and its innovative marketing campaigns to drive footfall and increase dwell time in the Centre.
The judges went on to comment:
“Customer service is at the heart of St Johns Shopping Centre and that is evident from every interaction with any member of staff. The team are well polished and willing to go the extra mile to assist customers.”
The judges also commented on the Centre’s leadership:
“The centre manager understands their customer base and has created a welcoming and engaging experience for the employees and tenants alike.”
