We did it! On Saturday the 11th of May, we braved the winds and cold weather to abseil 452ft down the side of the Radio City Tower (St Johns Beacon) – all to raise money for Radio City Cash For Kids and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Joining the St Johns team was our marketing partner, Kenyons, and our cleaning service provider, Westgrove Cleaning Services – who all geared up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Taking to the ropes, the team put on their bravest faces and smoothly abseiled down the tower with ease – taking in the sights of Liverpool on their way down.
Our aim was to raise vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 275,000 patients and families cared for each year – and through your amazing support, we’re able to make a real difference.
After touching base on the ground, we were ecstatic to hear that we had raised £3,145 – 104% of our target!
