We would like to welcome Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as our new charity partner from July until December.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s leading cancer centres providing highly specialist cancer care to a population of 2.3m people across Cheshire, Merseyside and the surrounding areas including the Isle of Man.

They are based in Wirral, Merseyside supported by a Β£17m radiotherapy treatment centre in Aintree, Liverpool. They also operate specialist chemotherapy clinics in seven of Merseyside’s district hospitals and deliver a pioneering Treatment at Home service.

The partnership will last 26 weeks, running for the beginning of July, until the end of December. Clatterbridge Cancer Charity will have access to the centre, allowing them to hold events, raise awareness and fundraise throughout the period.

Neil Ashcroft, Centre Manager explains “We are thrilled to be working with a local, and life-changing charity. Clatterbridge Cancer Charity does some amazing work and we’re thrilled to help them transform cancer care for people in our area, whilst fundraising for Liverpool’s first cancer hospital in the heart of the city.”
